Freedom in Reels
On 17/08/2022, Moving Pictures – Film Club of PG Department of English, SVR NSS College, organized “Freedom in Reels” at College Seminar Hall to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence. The highlight of the programme was the screening of the film Shersha which was followed by an open discussion on the topic Freedom in Reels. Dr. B. Gopakumar, Principal, SVR NSS College inagurated the programme. Welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Arjun V., Assistant Professor, Department of English, Presidential address was delivered by Ms. Parvathy Thankachi, HoD, Department of English, and Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Veena R. Nair, Film Club Coordinator, Assistant Professor, Department of English.
